Caitlin McPartland is an associate attorney at Payne & Jones, Chartered, having joined the firm in 2024. She brings experience representing clients in challenging and emotionally charged cases.

Originally from the DC Metro area, Caitlin earned her undergraduate degree from James Madison University and her graduate degree from George Mason University. She later attended the University of Kansas School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate, graduating in the top of her class. While at KU, she also received an Advocacy Certification, highlighting her commitment to effective representation and trial preparation.

During law school, Caitlin gained valuable experience working with vulnerable populations through KU's Project for Innocence and Post-Conviction Remedies as well as Kansas Legal Services. Caitlin's background and skills make her a compassionate advocate for her clients, ensuring they receive knowledgeable and diligent representation in even the most complex matters.
Caitlin is admitted to practice law in Kansas, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. She is a member of the Johnson County Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, and Kansas Women Attorneys Association.

Outside the practice of law, Caitlin enjoys volunteering with and fundraising within the Shawnee Mission School District, OriginArtsKC, Starfish Project, as well as several other philanthropic organizations supporting the Kansas City community. She lives in Prairie Village, Kansas, with her husband, Mike, and three energetic boys.
