Christopher J. Sherman
(913) 469-8182
Chris Sherman is a principal with the firm, and has practiced in our litigation group since joining the firm in 2001. Chris is a creative and skilled litigator, and is committed to advancing our clients’ interests at trial, through negotiation, or by providing practical and strategic advice concerning the legal issues that affect our clients. Chris understands that the most effective way to “win” a lawsuit is often to avoid one in the first place, and strives to keep our clients out of the courtroom when reasonably possible. But when litigation becomes necessary, Chris has the talent, experience, and dedication necessary to zealously protect our clients at trial, and on appeal.

Chris has litigated cases in the state and federal district courts in Kansas and Missouri, has tried cases on both sides of the state line, and has represented clients in numerous commercial arbitration disputes. Chris also has extensive appellate experience and has argued numerous cases before the Kansas Court of Appeals and Kansas Supreme Court. Chris’ excellent work as a litigator has earned him an AV Preeminent ® peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
